Year 10 and 11

There is more flexibility in these year groups where the pupils have a say in the programme of study. The activities include basketball, badminton, weights, hockey, football, rugby, athletics, striking games and health and wellbeing. A PSHE programme is also included in their lessons.
GCSE
The course is varied and includes health and fitness, how the body works, social issues within sport and the community and skill elements of performance. The course is 60% practical where the pupils need to choose four different activities in which they are assessed.
